Blown Film Extruders & Extrusion Dies

Macchi manufactures extruders for blown film ranging in size from 45 mm to 180 mm. They offer both grooved feed and smooth bore designs with either geared or gearless drive systems. Macchi produces high stalk HDPE dies and low stalk mono dies, oscillating and stationary dies for different applications. Since 1996, when Luigi Machi was awarded the patent for the first two layer milk film die, Macchi has been a leader in coex designs. Macchi currently offers coex dies up to 9 layers. Our die designs range in size from 80 mm to 2000 mm in diameter.

Air Rings, Bubble Enclosures & Bubble Cages

Macchi dual lip air rings feature a flexible design feature interchangeable inserts for greater flexibility and are specially designed for high efficiency cooling.

Macchi bubble enclosures insure a consistent, even cooling level at all times. Macchi bubble cages feature motorized height and sizing for accurate width control.

Take-Off & Winding Technology

Macchi offers both stationary and Oscillating take-off systems. They range in size from 1200 mm to 5200 mm depending on the style. They feature pneumatic actuation, gearless drives, a unique articulated collapsing frame and a wide choice of collapsing frame surfaces. The Macchi BO Winder has set the bar for the Industry. Able to perform surface, center assist and gap winding the BO winders also feature reverse winding capability.
