The expanding element is located internally, offering full protection from manhandling or sharp objects. The air expanding chuck can be used in conjunction with Daven’s solid support chuck. Custom sizes (inch and metric) are available. Optional rubber surface chucks are available for larger diameters up to and including 36"

  • The Daven Safety Chuck is a safe, fast loading, rugged shaft support and drive that can be used on all converting equipment. The heavy duty construction allows for many years of safe, problem free use.

    Both the foot and flange mount chuck designs will suit all drive systems. The chuck insures safe operation once a shaft is locked into place. The chuck will only open when the drive square is in the upright position. The square chuck sockets are available in both inch and metric sizes.

  • The Daven Winder is a safe, efficient method of winding any web including edge trim. Its rugged contruction and efficient winding can be used on all converting equipment. The winder’s simple design allows its winding speed to follow the line speed of the material. Its pneumatic drive system without gears or clutches allows for infinite stop-go or stalled motion.
